Amanda & Doug’s celebration was a highlight at the end of our Fall wedding season. Their event was all about family, from the booking through the evening. Getting to know not only the couple, but their parents and aunt (the amazingly talented Fran Pine of Fran Pine Events), was an absolute pleasure. Through our process, we worked with both families to develop an evening full of surprises and special touches to help set their reception apart.

An absolute favorite moment came at the request of Amanda and her talented father, David, to create an unforgettable father/daughter dance. We learned “Thunder Road” by Bruce Springsteen (their absolute fave), but halfway through Amanda sat down at the piano and David sang the rest of the song. This created a more intimate moment with all their closest family and friends singing along.

The key to unforgettable wedding entertainment? Special touches including:

• Room reveal with a mini-private concert
• Horns doing a 2nd line parade to gather guests from cocktail hour into the ballroom
• Dance sets all night long
• Learned songs important to the families (“Born to Run”, “Runaround Sue” and more!)
• Fran’s signature “end of night” ritual that we won’t give away

Such a perfect day and can’t wait to get their crew back on a dance floor.
